Canadians ages 18-plus, 36 percent called radio "an
important part of my life." ~ The "RadioNext"
survey, co-sponsored by Ando Media, Radio And Internet
Newsletter, and Solutions Research Group, was conducted
from October-December 2007
Internet is more integrated
into our daily lives than any other media. We don’t
write letters, we email. We don’t phone, we IM, we don’t tune in, we download.
When traditional radio finally understands that the
dinosaur they have been pampering is not working…
the internet will have already jumped ahead several
light years and Radio Dentata will be leading the way.

The number of Americans listening to a radio station
online increased during the twelve months to January
2008, according to an annual report from Edison Media
Research. But if we also list the Bridge Ratings &
Research January 2007 report that indicates the number
of monthly Internet radio* listeners nationwide has
increased to 72 million monthly listeners we can see
that the audience has almost doubled in a year’s
time.
Talk Shows
It is estimated that talk radio has 12 million listeners
weekly. (abritron reports). That 56% of the listeners
are male and over half are over the age of 35 with
a college education. Annual income is between 40-70K.
With a majority of these listeners accessing the
internet for their news and talk (http://www.talkers.com/)
Tower
Records now stock nearly 500 titles in their so-called
erotic category, far more than films about history
or dinosaurs.
Adult Sites:
More than 32 million unique individuals visited
a porn site in Sept. of 2003. Nearly 22.8 million
of them were male (71 percent), while 9.4 million
adult site visitors were female (29 percent) (Nielsen/Net
Ratings, Sept. 2003).
